How does Auto Accept work?
Imagine you frequently order groceries online from your favorite store. Instead of manually approving the payment every time, you enable AutoAccept for that store. Now, whenever you place an order, the payment is instantly approved, saving you time and hassle—while still keeping full control over where your money goes.
For optimum control, we always make sure that you authorize a payment before it’s done. However, the Auto Accept feature allows each one of you, regardless of your plan, to automate payments to your favorite online stores or to your best friends. You can simply enable Auto Accept and automatically approve all future payments to your selected list.
What are the bunq.me daily limits and fees?
bunq.me is a convenient feature that allows you to send and receive money with just a link. However, to ensure security and maintain a healthy financial environment, there are certain limits and fees associated with its usage.
bunq.me limits
Total weekly bunq.me limit: €1,500
iDeal payments: €1,500 maximum for the day.
Bancontact: €1,000 per transaction.
Debit / Credit card payments: from €10 to €500 per transaction.

When can I request a chargeback?
Each card payment made with your Credit or Debit Card is subject to a chargeback. You can request a chargeback for payments made with a bunq Credit Card or Debit Card within 90 to 120 calendar days of the transaction date.
However, Mastercard has set certain requirements under which a chargeback can be requested. In this topic, we’ll go through all the reasoning codes provided by them.
When can I request a chargeback?
You can request a chargeback in the following cases:
The product or service you paid for wasn’t received
The product or service you paid for is defective
The product or service you paid for didn’t match the description
The merchandise you received is fake and fraudulent
A travel service you paid for is no longer available as the provider is no longer operating
The merchant promised you a refund but you didn't receive it within 15 business days
A merchant charged you multiple times, even though you only authorized one payment with them
You were charged a 'no-show' fee for accommodation which you actually used or canceled in time
The transaction wasn’t complete but you were still charged, even though you didn't receive or use the goods or services
The merchant was supposed to refund you, but instead they charged your card again
The card payment is an unrecognized one.
Which payments aren't eligible for chargeback?
Bank transfers
iDEAL payments
Wise payments (ex. TransferWise)
B2B direct debits
SWIFT Payments
Additionally, card payments aren’t eligible for chargeback in the following cases:
The transaction concerns a deposit into an investment or crypto currency account
The transaction involves or has been executed via an e-money wallet (like PayPal or Curve card)
The transaction concerns a donation (i.e., a payment to a charity)
The transaction was executed on a gambling or betting website.
If you're looking for a chargeback for one of these options, we recommend directly requesting it from the other party.
How much time does it take for the refund request (chargeback) to be processed?
The entire chargeback process, as determined by Mastercard, can take anywhere from 50 to 120 days, depending on your case. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
