As you may know, bunq Elite plants a tree for every €100 you spend. Every time you spend €100 with any of your bunq cards as an bunq Elite user, our system confirms the payment and we donate a tree to our partners at veritree.
veritree is a platform that ensures transparency and real-time tracking of our reforestation efforts. Together, we've planted over 25 million trees, aiming for even more in the coming years. This effort is comparable to removing over 900,000 cars from the road for a year.

On a monthly basis, we fund the trees that you plant with your bunq Elite. This support goes directly to veritree to help restore environments in Kenya and Tanzania, aligning with several UN Sustainable Development Goals.
