Kenya
Since October 2020, Easy Green users have been reforesting areas in Kwasasi & Magumba, Kenya – a UNESCO world heritage site since 2001.
+ 4.1 million trees planted
Easy Green users are helping Kenya achieve an overall 10% forest cover.
+ 1.26 billion kg of CO2 offset
That’s equal to all the CO2 emitted from 1,385,000 flights from Amsterdam to NY!
2,520 hours of employment
Our projects help those living in poverty earn a fair and stable monthly wage.
Why we’re reforesting Kenya
Through logging and charcoal production, much of the country’s forest was destroyed causing frequent droughts and extreme poverty. By planting mangrove trees, Easy Green users are restoring the natural habitat of Kenya’s wildlife and safety for its communities while effortlessly offsetting their CO2.
Our progress
Take a look through the latest shots from our reforestation project and see the steps we’re taking towards a net zero emissions future.

Why mangrove trees?
At our reforestation projects both in Kenya & Madagascar, we’re planting mangrove trees. The soils in which they grow are super carbon sinks, absorbing massive amounts of CO2, and are great at protecting communities from the impact of natural disasters.Want to check one out?
