What is Connect and why should I use it?

SEPA payments 💶
Payments in Europe run through a system that works with batches and settlements. Every player has their own slots to send and collect money which is why payments do not arrive instantly. In fact, the system turns off at night and during the weekends 😨. Generally a payment arrives within a max of 1 working day.
The good thing is that the European Payment Council (EPC) announced that 600 banks across Europe will offer Instant Payment support, but only bunq and 20 other banks (including ABN AMRO) have already gone live...
Why do I need to fill in a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)?
In agreement with other countries to prevent fraud and tax evasion, the Dutch government shares citizens' tax information based on the Common Reporting Standard (CRS).
As a bank, we are legally required to ask new users where they are a tax resident and to provide us with their corresponding tax numbers. This applies to bunqers from all countries and you have 90 daysafter signup to provide this...
