Can I open an account from anywhere?

You can open a bunq account straight from your phone in each of the 30 countries in the European Economic Area (EEA). If you’re not a European citizen, you can still register with us, but you may be required to provide additional documentation besides your ID. Check our Together topic to see what requirements apply to you. When you sign up for bunq, we give you 90 days to submit your TIN. That way you can already bank like a local the moment you move to a new country, making it easier than ever to settle down in a new place.
