What's the difference between a Savings Account and Easy Savings?
Easy Savings is a plan that’s perfect for people who want to get a return on their savings without any effort: High interest. Zero fees. You can learn all about our Easy Savings plan here
Savings Account is a feature in the bunq app that’s available in our other plans (Easy Bank, Easy Money and Easy Green): it’s a type of sub-account that enables you to save money easily. It even lets you save money automatically while you enjoy your banking experience around the world. Learn more about it here
How is Easy Savings different from the other plans?
Easy Savings is a free plan for people who want to get a return on their savings without any effort. You get a high interest rate of 1.56% (2.46% for Dutch users 🇳🇱) on your Personal Savings Accounts and 1.05% on your Business ones, without any fees! Of course, all these benefits of holding your money are also included in Easy Bank, Easy Money and Easy Green. ✨

Who can use Easy Savings?

Is my money insured?
Of course! All funds on your Easy Savings account are covered up to €100,000.00 by the Deposit Guarantee Scheme of the Dutch Central Bank.
What’s my interest?
You get an interest rate of 1.56% (2.46% for Dutch users 🇳🇱) on your Personal Savings Accounts and 1.05% on your Business ones, paid weekly, on your deposits up to €100.000.
Can I connect a card to my account?
No, the Easy Savings plan doesn’t come with a card. However, keep in mind that you can always withdraw your savings by using a regular SEPA transfer. See how to make one here 🙌
Is there a maximum or minimum deposit?
No, the amount of the deposit is up to you!
Is deposit holding fee applicable?
As of December 1, 2022, bunq will no longer be charging safekeeping fee at all! Check more here
