Why Rotterdam?

Rotterdam is a unique city in The Netherlands. You can easily spot its distinctive architecture and looks. It’s also Europe’s largest seaport, so yay for pretty water views! As the city was highly affected by World War II, it started over with a modern style compared to the rest of the Netherlands.

It has a young and casual vibe, making it the perfect spot to party on a Friday night (when possible!) and practice some recovery Yoga on a Saturday morning. Fun, relaxation, foodie spots, museums, boat rides…you can find all of these in Rotterdam!

We’ve decided to bring the bunq love to Rotterdam for a couple of reasons. Firstly, some of our bunqers are from this area, and we wanted to give them more flexibility. Of course, they can choose which office they’d like to work in.

Second, we know there are plenty of very talented and ambitious people looking to change the world around that region. We get that traveling to Amsterdam may be overwhelming, so we’re coming your way instead. Meet us there?

Gladly! The new office, or “bunqer” as we call it, will be ready to welcome you very soon. Keep an eye on our channels for the exact date, but hey we’re already hiring! How cool is it to be the first bunqer of the Rotterdam office?!

It will be located right in the center of the city, so no need to worry about long travels. Of course, you’ll be reimbursed anyway—even if you cycle.
