1.05% interest on your savings

Simply go to the Home tab of your bunq app and tap on your Savings Account. Here you see an overview of all payment events. This includes deposits, withdrawals and interest payouts.

Withdrawing money from your Savings Account is always completely free. Some top-up methods for depositing money into your Savings Account may incur a small fee and if you send money to your bunq Savings Account from another bank, your other bank may charge extra costs as well.

No, we want you to save money the way that suits you best. That means there’s no minimum deposits, no fixed terms, and no other requirements such as opening an investment account.

Each day we take the lowest balance of your savings account(s) from the day before and apply your daily interest rate to a maximum of €100,000. Then, on the 1st of each month, we add it all together and pay it to you.

bunq processes all transactions in real-time. This means that money sent from one bunq account to another always arrives instantly. Because bunq is part of the TARGET Instant Payment Settlement (TIPS) service, sending and receiving money between bunq and other participating European banks is also instant.
